Job description
As an IT Support Technician, you will provide essential technical support across a variety of IT functions, including end-user assistance, troubleshooting, system maintenance, and the implementation of departmental initiatives to enhance efficiency and scalability., * Provide IT technical support to employees and customers
- Utilize a ticketing system for support
- Keep up-to-date documentation of hardware and software assets
- Specify, order, and configure IT equipment such as PC's, servers, switches, and routers
- Develop and deploy standardized computer images and software packages
- Maintain Active Directory objects and Global Policy Objects (GPO)
- Support Microsoft 365 cloud services (Exchange, Onedrive, Sharepoint, Teams)
- Identify, propose, and implement efficiency gaining projects/initiatives
Requirements

WORK ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
This position involves working in an office environment with extensive use of keyboard, monitor, mouse, and other IT peripheral equipment. Occasional moving heavy computer equipment (up to 50-lbs) may be required., * Associate degree or higher in Information Technology or a related field (or equivalent combination of education, experience, and/or certifications)
- 4-5 years of professional experience in IT support or a related technical role
- Proven troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Windows operating systems
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP networking fundamentals
- Experience with Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.)
- Demonstrated experience in a help desk or technical support role
- Experience managing Windows Active Directory infrastructure
- Working knowledge of computer systems, mobile devices, and related IT products
