Job description
Lead the design and development of a customer onboarding platform, including workflows for payment setup, authentication, and authorization
Drive architectural decisions with a focus on scalability, performance, and reliability
Act as a hands-on technical leader-contributing to code while mentoring engineers and setting development standards
Partner closely with product leaders and cross-functional teams to align technical solutions with business objectives
Own and optimize key system metrics related to onboarding performance and user experience
Develop and implement secure identity and access management solutions, including deep integration of authentication and authorisation frameworks
Requirements
Do you have experience in Web applications?, 4+ years of experience as a full-stack developer in an enterprise level environment with solid leadership capabilities
Proven experience as a Lead or Principal-level Developer; must demonstrate effective thought leadership, be strategic, strong ability to be the manager's go-to and for this position, be the SME on the login portion
Strong expertise in React, Node, TypeScript, and AWS
Expert in Authorization and Authentication; technically, best practices, confidence to guide the team in this area (SAP Gigya/ SAP Customer Data Cloud (SAP CDC) preferred or a comparable CIAM tool - Okta, Auth0, OAuth, Ping, etc.)
Demonstrated background working on web applications and partnering with product teams to drive enterprise applications
Strong intangibles are a must - effective communication, good personality; not looking for "do-ers", but curious technologist
Pluses
SAP Gigya or SAP Customer Data Cloud (SAP CDC - this is the modern term)
React Native would be beneficial as well because solutions should be suitable for both web and mobile applications
