Job description
The Senior Network Project/Program Manager is responsible for planning, leading, and delivering complex network, voice, and infrastructure initiatives within the telecom domain. This role requires strong project governance, exceptional vendor management capability, and the ability to coordinate cross-functional engineering and architecture teams.
The ideal candidate possesses deep technical acumen across networking technologies such as Cisco, Palo Alto, and enterprise voice and collaboration platforms including CUCM, Webex, and Amazon Connect. This position ensures successful execution of projects by following enterprise processes, maintaining compliance, and enabling efficiency across all phases of delivery while supporting modernization of unified communications and contact center ecosystems.
Project & Program Delivery:
- Lead the end-to-end planning, execution, and delivery of network, voice, and infrastructure projects in the telecom domain.
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and work breakdown structures.
- Manage multiple concurrent projects across cross-functional engineering, architecture, and operations teams.
- Track, measure, and report project status, risks, issues, and milestones to stakeholders and leadership.
Vendor & Stakeholder Management:
- Oversee vendor relationships to ensure timely delivery of products, services, and contracted deliverables.
- Coordinate vendor tasks, manage escalations, ensure SLA adherence, and drive accountability.
- Work closely with internal stakeholders including Network Engineers, Voice Engineers, Security Engineers, Architects, and Program Leadership.
Voice & Collaboration (Unified Communications) Program Oversight:
- Lead enterprise voice and unified communications initiatives across on-prem, cloud, and hybrid environments.
- Manage implementation, upgrades, and migrations for:
- Cisco CUCM (UCCM), Unity Connection, IM & Presence
- Amazon Connect (CCaaS platforms)
- Cisco UCCX / UCCE contact center solutions
- Oversee VoIP architecture, including SIP/H.323 protocols, SIP trunking, dial plans, and PSTN integrations.
- Ensure network readiness for voice/video, including:
- QoS configuration and optimization
- Latency, jitter, and packet loss management
- Bandwidth planning for UC workloads
- Drive contact center transformation programs, including IVR, ACD, call flows, and omnichannel capabilities (voice, chat, email).
- Lead cloud migration initiatives (on-prem UC $B"*(J Webex/Amazon Connect / hybrid models).
Governance, Compliance & Process Excellence:
- Ensure all projects adhere to organizational policies, security practices, and compliance requirements.
- Implement and optimize processes, procedures, and workflows that support key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance delivery efficiency and operational readiness.
- Maintain documentation, reports, and governance artifacts as required by IT and PMO standards.
Requirements
Do you have experience in Vendor relationship management?, * Bachelor$B!G(Js Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
- At least 2 years of experience working in a technology environment.
- Strong adaptive communication skills with the ability to interact across technical and executive levels.
- Demonstrated IT industry knowledge, particularly in networking, telecom, or unified communications.
- Solid technical acumen with the ability to understand engineering concepts and translate them into project actions., * Minimum 2 years of experience in an infrastructure-focused technology organization.
- Experience working with enterprise voice and unified communications platforms (CUCM, Webex, Amazon Connect, UCCX/UCCE).
- Understanding of VoIP, SIP protocols, QoS, and contact center technologies.
- Exposure to cloud-based collaboration and CCaaS platforms.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously across network and voice domains.
- Strong presentation skills with the ability to clearly communicate with internal stakeholders.
- Prior experience working with Cisco, Palo Alto, UPS devices, or similar network infrastructure technologies.
