Job description

to support the configuration, maintenance, and optimization of our IBM Maximo asset management ecosystem. This role is ideal for an early-career professional with a foundational understanding of Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) and system configuration who is eager to rapidly develop deep expertise in IBM Maximo. Working alongside senior Maximo administrators, business analysts, and operational stakeholders, you will help configure application components, support end-users, troubleshoot technical issues, and assist with strategic implementation and upgrades. Roles and Responsibilities

  • Configure, maintain, and support IBM Maximo Asset Management (v7.6.x) and/or Maximo Application Suite (MAS 9) applications, modules, user interfaces, workflows, and automation scripts in accordance with business and operational requirements. Utilize Maximo configuration tools, including Application Designer, Database Configuration, Workflow Designer, and Automation Scripting, to implement system enhancements, optimize functionality, and ensure alignment with organizational standards and best practices.

  • Perform unit testing and validation for new configurations, enhancements, and system patches.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve Maximo configuration defects.

  • Create and maintain system documentation, configuration records, and user guides.

  • Support bulk data imports, exports, and data cleansing initiatives using the Maximo Integration Framework (MIF) or MX Loader.

  • Assist with basic report development, modifications, and data analysis using Maximo reporting tools (e.g., BIRT, Cognos) and SQL queries.

  • Strictly adhere to established IT governance, change management protocols, and security procedures.

Requirements

Do you have experience in SQL?, * US Citizenship with ability to obtain a Public Trust.

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience working with IBM Maximo, enterprise asset management (EAM) software, or complex ERP systems.
  • Basic understanding of asset management lifecycle, maintenance operations, and work order tracking.
  • Foundational understanding of relational databases and data structures.
  • Strong analytical problem-solving skills, excellent written/verbal communication, and a proactive attitude toward learning.

Preferred Skills

  • Prior experience working on federal contracts.
  • Understanding of integration concepts, APIs (REST/JSON), or middleware platforms.
  • Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, or other software development lifecycle methodologies.
  • Any official IBM Maximo training, badges, or certifications are a significant plus.
