Job description
Install and maintain Voice/Data networks, Access Control, POS and Video Surveillance systems
-Install and maintain cabling (Cat-3, Cat-5e, Cat-6, Coax, Fiber Optic, etc.)
-Travel to multiple locations on any given day
-Troubleshoot and repair wide variety of low voltage wiring irregularities
-Maintaining detailed records of performance and inventory used on each job
-Maintain customer rapport by listening to, and resolving concerns
-Communicating effectively with customers and USConnect personnel
-Investigate customer issues and design appropriate solutions
-Provide training and support to end users
-Performing site surveys and accurately relaying job requirements to Management
-Working within a team environment, as well as work independently
-Maintaining an organized vehicle and keeping accurate inventory of company vehicle
-Order and maintain inventory stock supplies
-Maintaining a safe work environment by following codes, standards, and legal regulations
Requirements
Do you have a valid Driver's License license?, Do you have experience in VoIP?, Must have valid Driver's License
-Must be willing to drive company vehicle several hours a day (when required)
-Previous experience in telecommunications, alarm circuitry, or other related fields
-Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
-Strong attention to detail
-Excellent written and verbal communication skills
-Ability to keep accurate records and documentation
- Physically able to install cable by climbing ladders, * Do you have a clean driving record?
- Do you have you own hand tools (ie. butt set, probe and toner, punch down, etc.)?
Experience:
- cabling: 1 year (Required)
License/Certification:
- Driver's License (Required)
