Social Media Specialist

Space Cadet Brand is seeking a dependable, creative and hands-on Dispensary Operations, Production & Social Media Assistant to support our retail, production and management operations.

This is not a traditional desk-only assistant position. The selected candidate will help create social media content, assist inside the production area, support our Head Extractor with product development and new formulations and help management coordinate employees and daily company operations.

The ideal candidate is organized, confident, professional and willing to work wherever needed to help the company grow. Previous modeling, promotional or brand ambassador experience is a plus because this person may also appear in company photos, videos, product demonstrations and promotional content.

Social Media, Marketing & Brand Representation

• Create and post engaging content for Instagram, TikTok, Facebook and other platforms

• Take quality photos and videos of products, store promotions, production activities and company events

• Develop reels, stories, promotional posts and behind-the-scenes content

• Help plan promotions, giveaways, product launches and marketing campaigns

• Respond professionally to social media messages and customer questions

• Track content performance and suggest ways to increase engagement and brand awareness

• Participate in professional photoshoots, promotional videos and product demonstrations

• Represent Space Cadet Brand professionally online, in-store and at company events

• Serve as a brand ambassador and help develop a recognizable public image for the company

Production & Product Development

• Assist the Head Extractor with daily production activities

• Help develop, test and document new product formulations

• Assist with measuring, mixing, filling, packaging, labeling and organizing products

• Maintain accurate batch records, formulation notes, inventory logs and production documents

• Prepare production areas, supplies and equipment before and after projects

• Help monitor production inventory and supply needs

• Maintain a clean, organized and sanitary production environment

• Follow all company safety, quality-control and compliance procedures

• Maintain confidentiality regarding company formulations, processes and proprietary information

Operations & Employee Coordination

• Help management coordinate employees across retail and production operations

• Communicate daily assignments, company updates and operational expectations

• Follow up with employees to confirm tasks are completed correctly and on time

• Help prepare employee schedules and monitor attendance

• Assist with employee training, onboarding and daily supervision

• Help ensure company policies and standard operating procedures are followed

• Monitor store appearance, employee performance, inventory procedures and task completion

• Report employee concerns and operational issues directly to company leadership

• Help improve organization, accountability and communication throughout the company

• Support management with the daily operation and continued growth of the business

Administrative Responsibilities

• Manage calendars, meetings, reminders, documents and follow-up items

• Prepare reports, spreadsheets, checklists and employee communications

• Track inventory, product movement, production needs and supply orders

• Communicate professionally with employees, customers, vendors and business partners

• Help organize company records and operational documents

Do you have experience in Customer communication?, * Strong social media and content-creation skills

• Comfortable taking photos, recording videos and creating promotional content

• Comfortable appearing in professional company photos and videos

• Previous modeling, promotional, influencer or brand ambassador experience is a plus

• Experience with Instagram, TikTok, Canva, CapCut or similar platforms is preferred

• Strong communication, organization and follow-through

• Comfortable helping manage employees and holding team members accountable

• Willing to learn production, formulation, packaging, inventory and compliance procedures

• Previous experience in retail, management, production, manufacturing, marketing, laboratory work or executive assistance is helpful

• Must be dependable, professional, detail-oriented and able to take initiative

• Must be able to protect confidential company information

• Must meet all legal age requirements for working in the industry

Physical & Scheduling Requirements

• Ability to stand for extended periods

• Ability to lift and move inventory and production supplies

• Comfortable working around production equipment while following required safety procedures

• Available for occasional evenings, weekends, photoshoots, launches and company events

• Reliable transportation is required
