Job description
We are looking for a Data Scientist (all genders) to join THE MARCOM ENGINE (part of the Serviceplan Group) in Munich at the earliest possible start date in full-time.
In this role, you'll be part of a multidisciplinary team bridging data science, strategy, and automation and contribute to exciting projects at the forefront of digital transformation, working on innovative consumer insights initiatives and personalization measures for globally recognized brands.
What you can expect:
- Develop and implement machine learning models and algorithms
- Conduct data analysis to identify patterns, trends and insights
- Participate in projects related to data and processing for AI Agents
- Work closely with internal and client stakeholders to formulate data-driven solutions
- Validate models and interpret results by performing statistical analysis and hypotheses
- Stay updated with the latest developments and best practices in data analytics and data science
- Ensure maintenance of data science model and process documentation
- Apply machine learning and automation to scale analyses and accelerate insights
- Create advanced analytical models that demonstrate how marketing contributes to business growth-from media effectiveness to customer lifetime value
- Work in a multidisciplinary team across data science, strategy, and automation to advance data-driven marketing measurement and optimization
Requirements
- A completed degree in a quantitative, analytical, or business-related field (e.g. Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Business Informatics) or a comparable qualification
- Several years of experience as a Data Scientist or Marketing Analyst, ideally with a strong focus on statistical modeling and marketing analytics, preferably in an agency or dynamic environment
- Excellent Python skills and experience with relevant libraries
- Excellent knowledge in handling data queries and confidence handling different data types (SQL, Redshift, PostgreSQL)
- Experience applying machine learning and automation to accelerate analytical workflows
- Familiarity with cloud environments such as GCP, AWS, or Azure, as well as visualization tools like Quicksight, Tableau, Power BI, or Looker
- Ability to translate complex statistical findings into clear, strategic insights
- Experience with Digital Analytics platforms or Marketing campaign data
- Excellent communication skills in English and German
- Curiosity, initiative, and a collaborative mindset
- Knowledge of information security and awareness of information security principles
