Job description
We're looking for a UX Designer to join our product team and help create intuitive, user-centred digital experiences. You'll work closely with product managers, developers, and other designers to deliver high-quality solutions that meet both user and business needs.
This role is ideal for a mid-weight designer looking to grow within a product-led, Agile environment, with the opportunity to develop skills across research, design, and delivery., * Contribute to UX design within cross-functional Agile teams, delivering design work as part of sprint cycles
- Support user research activities (e.g. interviews, usability testing) and apply insights to design solutions
- Create wireframes, user flows, and interactive prototypes using tools such as Figma, applying strong interaction design and information architecture principles
- Collaborate with developers to ensure designs are feasible and implemented effectively
- Apply existing design systems and contribute to their ongoing improvement
- Help optimise user journeys by analysing user behaviour and identifying areas for enhancement
- Taking ownership of design tasks from discovery through to delivery, working with ambiguity and shaping problem statements where needed
- Work closely with stakeholders across product, marketing, and technology, presenting design work and explaining rationale
Requirements
- Experience in UX or Product Design, with a portfolio demonstrating your work
- Proficiency in Figma (or equivalent design tools) and prototyping at varying levels of fidelity
- Understanding of user-centred design principles, usability heuristics, and interaction design
- Experience collaborating with developers and working in iterative environments (Agile exposure beneficial), including prioritising UX work within delivery constraints
- Ability to translate requirements and insights into clear design solutions
- Comfortable supporting and running small-scale research activities
- Confidence presenting design work, defending decisions, and contributing to design critiques
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, and collaboration skills
- Ability to challenge requirements constructively and advocate for user-centred outcomes
Desirable (Nice to Have)
- Experience supporting or conducting broader user research
- Familiarity with design systems
- Awareness of accessibility standards (e.g. WCAG)
- Experience contributing to workshops, ideation sessions, or facilitation activities
- Experience within financial services or regulated environments
