Job description
This position is responsible for developing and maintaining software applications that support manufacturing and automated test systems for electronic products. The role works closely with manufacturing engineering teams to design, develop, and implement software solutions used for testing, data collection, and production support., * Develop software applications using Microsoft .NET technologies to support manufacturing and business operations.
- Build and maintain applications using ASP.NET, WinForms, and SQL Server.
- Develop and support software for automated electronic test equipment.
- Collaborate with manufacturing engineering to define requirements for test systems and software tools.
- Design and develop web-based applications to support test and measurement processes.
- Create and maintain databases for storing and retrieving test and production data.
- Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve software defects and system issues.
- Enhance and improve existing software applications as needed.
- Provide input on hardware and software integration for test system development.
Requirements
- Proven experience in software development.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with C#, .NET Framework, ASP.NET, WinForms, and SQL Server.
- Understanding of software development for manufacturing or industrial applications preferred.
- Basic understanding of electronics and measurement concepts (voltage, current, signal levels, etc.).
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively., * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field; or equivalent experience.
- Experience developing software using C#, ASP.NET, WinForms, and SQL Server required.
- Experience in electronics or hardware-related software environments preferred.
- Experience with legacy systems (e.g., VB6) is a plus.
- Must be eligible to work with ITAR-controlled data.
Physical Requirements / Work Environment:
- Office-based role with heavy computer usage.
- Prolonged periods of sitting and working at a computer.
- Ability to lift up to 20 lbs occasionally.
