Mid-level Software Engineer

Insight Global is seeking a motivated Mid-Level Software Engineer to support a client in Huntsville, AL. This individual will work alongside a team of engineers to design, develop, test, and maintain software applications that support mission-critical systems and technical objectives., This role is heavily focused on Java development, with additional experience in C/C++ programming required. The engineer will play a key role in enhancing system capabilities, including expanding software-driven functionality that enables users to interact with and operate system components through external applications and interfaces. Responsibilities will include supporting new feature development, system integration efforts, code optimization, and modernization initiatives.

Bachelor's Degree in STEM field -3-8 years of experience (no more than 10 years) -Experience programming with Java - backend logic and build command-and- control (C2) applications & integrate hardware and software systems -Background w/ C++, C#, Python and/or JavaScript
