In this role, you will:

• Install, configure, and validate new SAS 9.4M8 environments
• Lead migration activities from on-premises infrastructure into AWS
• Migrate SAS metadata, users, libraries, datasets, and platform assets
• Configure and troubleshoot SAS platform services and infrastructure
• Perform post-migration validation and production readiness testing
• Troubleshoot issues across Windows, Linux, AWS, and SAS environments
• Develop migration plans, technical documentation, and implementation guides
• Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and production cutover activities
• Conduct knowledge transfer sessions with internal technical teams
• Collaborate with infrastructure teams, application owners, and business stakeholders throughout the migration lifecycle

• 5+ years of hands-on SAS 9.4 platform administration experience
• Experience installing, configuring, upgrading, and supporting SAS 9.4 environments (9.4M8 preferred)
• Proven experience performing SAS platform migrations in enterprise environments
• Experience migrating SAS Metadata, libraries, users, datasets, projects, and applications
• Strong knowledge of SAS Metadata Server, Enterprise Guide, SAS/Access, and platform configuration
• Experience applying SAS hot fixes, patches, and performing post-installation validation
• Experience migrating enterprise applications from on-premises infrastructure to AWS
• Strong AWS infrastructure experience, including EC2, storage, networking, and server provisioning
• Windows Server and Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) administration experience
• Experience managing file systems, permissions, batch scheduling, and server migrations
• Strong troubleshooting skills across infrastructure, operating systems, and SAS platform components
• Excellent communication and documentation skills
