Please be aware that on Tuesday, June 30, 2026, between 4:30 p.m. - 5:30 p.m. EST, there will be scheduled downtime for users of the Michigan Postsecondary Schools (MIPSS) and the Michigan Training Connect (MiTC) systems. We are using this time to enhance our overall service delivery. MiTalent (PMTC) users are NOT affected by this scheduled downtime.
Please be aware that starting July 1, 2026, between 8:00 a.m. - 9:00 a.m. EST, there will be a scheduled downtime for users of the Pure Michigan Talent Connect. We are using this time to enhance our overall service delivery., Manage field truck expenses, work orders, and truck maintenance Answering internal and customer service calls Opening and closing work orders, including accurately recording story lines into each order Scheduling periodic maintenance for customer equipment Assist Technicians with finding technical data Incorporate Alta's Guiding Principles into daily activities Performs other duties as assigned Consistent, regular, and reliable attendance including being ready for work at the designated start time
Requirements
Previous dispatching, warranty administrative or mechanic experience is highly preferred A strong technical knowledge base is desired to answer Technician questions Must have strong computer skills and working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook. Previous ERP experience is a plus. Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills Knowledge of the geographic area Bilingual English and Spanish preferred Must be willing to answer phone calls throughout all times of the day/night Excellent time management skills and the ability to communicate with all levels of coworkers, as well as customers Language Skills - Intermediate: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization. Mathematical Skills - Intermediate: Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry. Reasoning Ability - Intermediate: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations Physical Demands/Work Environment: Physical/Sensory Functions: Regularly will use sit, use hands, talk/hear; Frequently will reach with hands; Occasionally will stand, walk, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl, taste/smell. Vision: No special vision requirements. Lift and/or Move Functions: Regularly will lift up to 10 pounds; Frequently will lift up to 25 pounds; Occasionally will lift up to 50 pounds
