Job description

We are seeking a motivated Full Stack Developer with hands-on AI tooling experience to support a fast-paced federal program in Washington, DC. This role is ideal for a mid-level developer who enjoys working across the full stack, collaborating with senior engineers, and using modern AI-powered tools to improve development speed, code quality, and documentation. The selected candidate will support application development, modernization, operational maintenance, and Power Platform solutions across a Microsoft-focused enterprise environment., Develop, maintain, and enhance full stack applications using C#, ASP.NET, .NET Core, React, and Node.js Build and consume REST APIs and integrate them with modern React-based user interfaces Create scalable backend services, middleware, and application workflows using Node.js Use AI-powered developer tools such as GitHub Copilot, OpenAI Codex, ChatGPT, Azure OpenAI, or similar tools to support coding, documentation, code review, and development efficiency Support the integration and evaluation of LLM-based features and AI APIs within application workflows Design and build Power Apps, including canvas and model-driven applications Configure and manage Microsoft Dataverse, including tables, relationships, business rules, and security roles Develop Power Automate workflows to integrate Power Platform solutions with Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Teams, and external APIs Support and modernize legacy SharePoint-backed systems as part of ongoing migration and enhancement efforts Perform O&M support, troubleshooting, debugging, bug fixes, and minor enhancements across the application stack Assist with code deployments and frequent releases in a CI/CD environment Collaborate with technical leads, developers, and program stakeholders to meet delivery timelines Work onsite with the team in a federal environment to support rapid collaboration and mission delivery

Requirements

Do you have a Bachelor's degree?, Active Secret Clearance Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience 3 to 6 years of experience in .NET development, including C#, ASP.NET MVC, and/or ASP.NET Core Strong experience with React, including hooks, component design, state management, and responsive UI development Experience developing APIs or server-side applications using Node.js Professional experience using AI-powered developer tools such as GitHub Copilot, OpenAI Codex, ChatGPT, Azure OpenAI, or similar coding assistants Hands-on experience with Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI Working knowledge of Microsoft Dataverse, including data modeling, table configuration, relationships, and security roles Experience with MS SQL, Entity Framework, and RESTful API design Familiarity with Microsoft 365 tools, including SharePoint Online, Teams, Outlook, Excel, Word, and OneDrive Experience using Git for source control and collaborative development Familiarity with CI/CD concepts and full stack deployment workflows Basic understanding of Active Directory and application security concepts Ability to work onsite in Washington, DC 3 days per week Ability to support occasional Saturday deployment activities, as needed, Experience integrating Azure OpenAI, OpenAI API, Hugging Face, or other LLM/AI APIs into production applications Familiarity with prompt engineering and AI-assisted development workflows Experience with GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or similar CI/CD tools Familiarity with TypeScript for frontend or Node.js development Experience with Dataverse for Teams or Power Apps embedded in Microsoft Teams Familiarity with SharePoint 2013 or newer in a support, migration, or legacy modernization capacity Exposure to Docker, Kubernetes, or other containerization tools Knowledge of Azure cloud services and federal cloud environments Understanding of Section 508 accessibility standards
