Job description

Exchange Effect is seeking a detail-oriented, reliable Health Intake Data Collection Assistant to support a community health pilot project focused on socio-economically distressed individuals. You will assist participants during a carefully structured health intake event by administering a questionnaire and facilitating voice data collection according to strict research protocols.

This opportunity is ideal for medical students, trained research assistants, or authorized project representatives familiar with ethical data collection and working with vulnerable populations.

Responsibilities

  • Assist 10 to 15 socio-economically distressed participants in completing the Exchange Effect questionnaire consistently and respectfully.
  • Facilitate voice data collection strictly as an exploratory observation without offering any medical advice or interpretation.
  • Obtain written informed consent, clearly explaining the voluntary, research-oriented nature of the pilot.
  • Ensure participant privacy, secure data handling, and compliance with medical and ethical guidelines.
  • Record operational notes on workflow, participant understanding, and any feasibility issues encountered.
  • Work closely under medical supervision protocols and follow all project-specific instructions and disclaimers.
  • Report any participant questions or concerns promptly to the project supervisor.

Requirements

Do you have experience in Teamwork?, * Experience or training in health research, medical intake, or community outreach preferred.

  • Understanding of informed consent principles, privacy, and ethical considerations when working with vulnerable populations.
  • Excellent communication, patience, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and data integrity.
  • Comfortable working in a structured, protocol-driven research setting.
  • Availability for the full 4-hour event on July 4, 2026.
