Job description

As Internet Director, you'll lead the dealership's online sales operation end to end - from the moment a lead arrives to the moment a customer drives off the lot. You'll be responsible for lead response, the internet sales process, our digital storefront, and the performance of the team and tools that drive online volume. This is a leadership position with real ownership and real upside.

What You'll Do

  • Own and optimize the internet lead process: speed-to-lead, follow-up cadence, and conversion from inquiry to appointment to sale

  • Manage and develop the internet/BDC sales team - coaching, accountability, and daily performance standards (calls, videos, follow-up)

  • Maintain and improve our CRM workflows, lead routing, and reporting

  • Oversee our digital presence across the website, third-party lead providers, and manufacturer channels; hold vendors accountable to results

  • Track and report on key metrics - lead volume, response times, close rates, cost per sale - and use the data to drive decisions

  • Partner with sales management to align online and showroom processes under the one-price model

  • Stay current on digital retailing tools, online merchandising, and reputation/review management

Requirements

Do you have a valid Driver's License license?, Do you have experience in Sales leadership?, Proven experience in automotive internet sales, BDC, or digital sales leadership (dealership experience strongly preferred)

  • Track record of hitting and exceeding lead-conversion and sales targets

  • Strong command of dealership CRM and lead-management systems

  • A leader who can coach, hold a team accountable, and lead from the front

  • Data-driven, organized, and comfortable owning numbers and reporting

  • Excellent written and verbal communication

  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
