Cloud Software Developer and Integrator

Lockheed Martin Rotary & Mission Systems is seeking a full-time Software Engineer. In this role, you will perform software development tasks supporting Navy programs. The successful candidate will have experience and knowledge of coding in Java/C++ on a Linux Operating System.

Familiarity in containerization technologies (Docker, Podman, K3s) and related tooling.

• Solid expertise in Linux development, integration, and troubleshooting

• Experience with Bash and/or Python

• Experience with Java development

• Interim Secret or higher Security Clearance Desired Skills:

• Experience in DevSecOps and Agile methodologies.

• Proficiency in containerization technologies (Docker, Podman, K3s) and related tooling.

• Hands-on experience with Helm for packaging and managing Kubernetes applications.

• Experience designing, developing, and deploying microservices and containerized legacy applications on Kubernetes clusters. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
