Job description
As the Manager of eCommerce Analytics, the primary goal will be to manage, monitor, and report on the online consumer experience. This role focuses on identifying actionable insights to improve revenue, customer experience, and guest engagement. Success in this position relies on the ability to synthesize data from multiple sources, including Adobe Analytics, DataLake, and a Customer Data Platform (CDP), and to make key recommendations based on those insights. The role involves working with large data sets to analyze performance and identify variances., * Produce and report on insights to drive revenue through guest-facing online channels.
- Formulate hypotheses that can be tested, measured, and reported to a larger audience.
- Support business initiatives by identifying key trends in data that can drive growth.
- Validate data integrity in all analyses performed.
- Support department-wide ROI reporting and analyses as needed.
- Build insight-minded dashboards to identify and analyze trends in customer behavior across browser and native mobile apps.
- Present insights to members of the leadership team.
- Train, manage, and mentor direct reports and peer analysts across multiple teams.
Requirements
Education: A BS/BA Degree in mathematics, computer science, or statistics is preferred.
Experience: A minimum of 6 to 8 years of related experience is required, which includes supervisory or management experience. This must include at least 5 years in a data analytical role with a focus on eCommerce.
Technical Skills: Experience with Adobe Analytics/Customer Journey Analytics and SQL is required. Candidates should also have experience implementing and maintaining analytics tagging solutions, including setting and validating tags and configuring website data layers. Experience managing and enhancing a Customer Data Platform (CDP), partnering with engineering and marketing teams to improve data quality, identity resolution, audience activation, and downstream use cases is necessary.
Preferred Qualifications
- Hospitality industry experience is a plus.
