Job description
- Deploy, configure, and manage Azure infrastructure including VMs, storage accounts, virtual networks, and network security groups.
- Design and manage scalable data solutions using Azure services such as Cosmos DB, Azure SQL, and Data Lake Storage.
- Implement best practices in data availability, redundancy, backup, and disaster recovery.
- Support data ingestion, transformation, and storage pipelines in collaboration with data engineers.
- Monitor performance and optimize database and storage configurations.
- Automate infrastructure deployment using ARM templates, Terraform, or Bicep.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in Agile environments using Jira and GitHub
Requirements
Strong proficiency with core Azure infrastructure services. Hands-on experience with Databricks infrastructure Experience integrating Databricks with Azure infrastructure services (Event hub, CosmosDB, etc.) Terraform as IaC experience Hands-on experience with Cosmos DB and related Azure data services. Proficiency in scripting and automation using PowerShell, Python, or Azure CLI. Understanding of Azure security, role-based access control (RBAC), and networking
