Job description

Our client is seeking an experienced IT Infrastructure & Security Manager to lead technology services for its corporate office. This newly created, highly visible leadership role is responsible for maintaining reliable IT operations, a secure technology environment, and technology initiatives that support business objectives.

Reporting to senior IT leadership, this individual will oversee day-to-day IT operations, infrastructure planning, budgeting, security, technology projects, and end-user support while serving as the primary technology leader for the corporate office.

The ideal candidate enjoys balancing leadership responsibilities with technical problem-solving and thrives in a hands-on environment where no two days are the same., * Lead day-to-day IT operations for the corporate office.

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for local IT infrastructure, security, and technology support.
  • Provide white-glove IT support for executive leadership and board meeting technology needs.
  • Supervise and mentor one onsite IT professional while coordinating third-party technology partners.
  • Develop and manage the annual IT budget and oversee technology projects and infrastructure improvements.
  • Develop and maintain 1-, 3-, and 5-year technology roadmaps aligned with business objectives.
  • Maintain enterprise technology asset inventory and lifecycle management processes.
  • Lead technology change management initiatives and evaluate emerging technologies and security best practices.
  • Partner with enterprise IT, Information Security, and business leadership to maintain technology standards and compliance.
  • Manage endpoint deployments, imaging, encryption, endpoint security, vulnerability remediation, hardware lifecycle, software deployments, and procurement.
  • Maintain secure network operations, management, backup solutions, business continuity, and disaster recovery capabilities.
  • Develop and test disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
  • Define security monitoring, vulnerability management, incident response, and remediation activities.
  • Promote security awareness by educating employees on cybersecurity best practices and corporate IT policies.
  • Manage vendor relationships, evaluate third-party technology services, and recommend solutions that improve operational effectiveness.
  • Support compliance with records retention, governance, and technology policies.
  • Handle confidential and sensitive information with the highest level of professionalism and discretion.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to executive leadership on technology and operational improvements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 10+ years supporting enterprise IT infrastructure in complex environments.
  • 5+ years leading IT operations, infrastructure, or security/compliance initiatives.
  • Experience supervising technical staff including hiring, coaching, and performance management.
  • Hands-on experience with enterprise endpoint management, deployment, imaging, encryption, vulnerability remediation, and lifecycle management.
  • Experience with Windows enterprise environments, Microsoft 365, cloud services, and management technologies.
  • Understanding of EDR, SIEM, MFA, SSO, Microsoft Entra, and incident response processes.
  • Familiarity with CMMC, NIST, ISO 27001, or similar security frameworks.
  • Strong project management, organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Professional, emotionally intelligent, customer-focused leadership style.
