Job description

CACI has an outstanding opportunity for a select Expert GIS Administrator who wants to make a difference in the defense of the nation by applying their talents and experience in a fast-paced, dynamic environment in support of the US Special Operations Command. The opportunities are limited to those who have the operational and technical experience and skills to effectively apply geospatial acumen in support of real-world operations. The candidate will be an integral part of a selective professional geospatial IT development team that directly supports the analysis during the operational planning cycle to support mission success. This position is in support of a Department of Defense (DoD) organization and will be located in Fayetteville, NC. More About the Role:

The successful candidate will be part of a team responsible for the development, implementation, and maintenance of ESRI GIS and Mapping products: ArcGIS Enterprise, ArcGIS Pro, and ArcGIS Earth; as well as other enterprise-wide GIS and associated geospatial databases, network equipment, and software tools and applications. The candidate will perform complex analysis, design, and modification of GIS applications and databases, and evaluation of new GIS hardware and software.

Requirements

  • A "TS/SCI" clearance is required to begin employment.
  • Minimum of eight (8) years GIS experience within DOD or the Intelligence Community
  • Experience administering and deploying ESRI GIS and Mapping Tool Suite: ArcGIS Enterprise, ArcGIS Pro, and ArcGIS Earth.
  • Shall be highly proficient in administering and deploying open source and commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) GIS server equipment in support of intelligence organizations
  • Strong ability to write custom scripts for automation and analysis using Python, with knowledge of C# and Java
  • Perform at a high level/expert in intelligence systems architecture design and evaluation
  • Shall possess an expert working knowledge of the discovery, analysis, and exploitation of geospatially oriented data and the management of that data within a variety of Open Geospatial Consortium (OGC) compliant applications and databases
  • Shall possess strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Shall possess a high level/expert ability to manage and work with static and dynamic streaming geospatial-oriented data
  • Required to obtain and maintain currency of the appropriate level certification in accordance with DODD 8570.01., * Bachelor's degree and 10 years of general experience in the fields of targeting, intelligence systems architecture, and geospatial systems experience are highly desirable.

The proposed salary range for this position is: $93,500 - $196,500
