Job description

We are seeking an experienced Microsoft Teams Room (MTR) Support Engineer to deploy, configure, support, and maintain Microsoft Teams Room environments across multiple corporate locations. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Microsoft Teams Rooms, video conferencing technologies, Microsoft 365, Azure Active Directory, Windows systems, and enterprise AV hardware.

This role requires travel between client locations. Candidates must have a reliable vehicle (mileage reimbursed) and be available for occasional after-hours, weekend, and holiday support.

Key ResponsibilitiesDeployment & Configuration

  • Install, configure, and deploy Microsoft Teams Room (MTR) systems.
  • Configure cameras, microphones, speakers, touch panels, and display devices.
  • Integrate Teams Rooms with Microsoft 365, Exchange Online, Azure Active Directory, and enterprise network infrastructure.
  • Develop and maintain deployment documentation and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Coordinate with project managers, AV integrators, and IT teams during deployments.

Technical Support & Troubleshooting

  • Provide Level 1 and Level 2 support for Microsoft Teams Rooms.
  • Troubleshoot hardware, software, networking, and conferencing issues.
  • Monitor room health using Microsoft Teams Admin Center, Pro Management Portal, and monitoring tools.
  • Escalate complex issues to vendors when required.
  • Track incidents, resolutions, and recurring issues through ticketing systems.

User Support

  • Provide onsite and remote support for end users.
  • Assist executives and meeting organizers before and during meetings.
  • Create user guides and conduct end-user training sessions.
  • Deliver excellent customer service and technical assistance.

Maintenance & Optimization

  • Perform firmware and software updates for Teams Room devices.
  • Conduct preventive maintenance and routine health checks.
  • Recommend system improvements based on usage trends.
  • Support lifecycle management, including hardware replacement and decommissioning.

Collaboration & Security

  • Work closely with Networking, Security, Facilities, and AV teams.
  • Ensure Teams Room environments comply with security and compliance standards.
  • Manage device authentication, patch management, and access controls.

Requirements

Do you have a valid Driver's License license?, Do you have experience in Video conferencing systems operation?, Do you have a Bachelor's degree?, * Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Electronics, or equivalent experience.

  • 4+ years of experience supporting Microsoft Teams Rooms, Unified Communications, Video Conferencing, or Enterprise AV environments.
  • Strong experience supporting Microsoft Teams Rooms (MTR).
  • Experience with Microsoft 365, Microsoft Teams, Azure Active Directory (Entra ID), and Exchange Online.
  • Hands-on experience with Windows operating systems.
  • Experience supporting Surface Hub, Crestron, Poly, Logitech, Yealink, and similar conferencing devices.
  • Knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, Wi-Fi, and networking fundamentals.
  • Experience with firmware upgrades, software deployments, and preventive maintenance.
  • Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication, documentation, and customer service skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced enterprise environment., * Microsoft Certified: Teams Administrator Associate
