Job description
This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on engineer who enjoys solving complex controls challenges through software development. You will be responsible for developing embedded C applications for electric drive and power electronics systems, participating in design reviews, creating validation plans, performing testing activities, and maintaining technical documentation throughout the development lifecycle.
Requirements
Successful candidates will have experience with C programming, MATLAB-based controls development, and software applications for power electronics converters, inverters, rectifiers, or motor control systems. A minimum of two years of related experience is preferred., * Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.
- 2+ years of experience developing embedded control software for power electronics or electric drive applications.
- Strong C programming skills with experience supporting real-time embedded systems.
- Experience using MATLAB and/or Simulink for controls development and validation.
- Working knowledge of motor controls, power converters, design reviews, and validation activities.
