Software Engineer

• Build and evolve core backend services and cross-cutting infrastructure to support scalable and resilient systems.
• Automate DevOps workflows and operational tasks to improve efficiency and eliminate manual overhead and actions.
• Enhance system monitoring, observability, and reliability to ensure robust production performance.
• Contribute to centralized codebases, delivering high-quality, maintainable solutions that adhering to engineering standards
• Contribute to ongoing security posture improvement programs across our Azure fleet.
• Be part of the on-call rotation to respond to and mitigate live site issues.
• Identify and use appropriate artificial intelligence (AI) tools and practices across the software development lifecycle (SDLC) in a disciplined manner

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, or related technical discipline with proven experience coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python OR equivalent experience., Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings: Microsoft Cloud Background Check:

• This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter., *Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 1+ year(s) technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python OR equivalent experience OR Master's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field with proven experience coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python OR
• Distributed systems development and deployment experience with cloud services ( e.g. Azure, AWS, GCP).
• Experience with large-scale software engineering.
