Job description
The ideal candidate shoud have strong expertise in web application development, SQL and the Insurance domain. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable web-based applications while collaborating with business stakeholders to drive automation and efficiency., * Design, develop, test, and maintain web applications using .NET technologies, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

Lead the end-to-end software development lifecycle, including architecture, design, coding, testing, and deployment.

Build and maintain web-based applications supporting business functions within the Insurance domain.

Collaborate with business teams to:

Identify opportunities for process improvements

Improve operational efficiency

Reduce costs and enhance revenue
Develop RESTful services and JSON-based APIs using ASP.NET Web API.
Write clean, efficient, and reusable C# code using design patterns and best practices.
Utilize Entity Framework (ORM) for database access and management.
Create and optimize SQL queries and ensure efficient data handling.
Manage source code using Git, including GitFlow workflows.
Troubleshoot and resolve:
- Application defects
- Data inconsistencies in underlying databases
- Issues in legacy-integrated systems
Requirements

5+ years of hands-on experience in .NET development.

5+ years of strong experience with:

C#

ASP.NET MVC / ASP.NET Core

.NET Framework and .NET Core/.NET 6+

Web API and RESTful services
5+ years of experience with Microsoft SQL Server.
5+ years of experience with:
- Database design and normalization
- Writing complex SQL queries
Preferred Experience:
- 5+ years experience with modern front-end frameworks
- Experience with JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3.
- Strong logical and creative thinking
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
Benefits & conditions
NTT DATA provides a reasonable range of compensation for U.S.-based positions. The starting pay range for this role is $106,480 - $159,720 per annum. Actual compensation will depend on a number of factors, including the candidate's relevant experience, technical skills, and other qualifications. This position may also be eligible for incentive compensation based on individual and/or company performance.
