Job description

A senior-level IT architect specializing in enterprise network services within a global data center and network organization. This role involves designing, implementing, and maintaining advanced infrastructure solutions across distributed environments, utilizing cloud-first strategies, automation, and software-defined technologies. The position requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure scalable, high-performance, and highly available network services., * Serve as a Subject Matter Expert on data center and network infrastructure aligned to standardized architecture standards.

  • Design, build, and operate modern enterprise networks, including transforming legacy environments using SDN, NFV, automation, and orchestration tools.
  • Architect and deploy cloud networking solutions across platforms such as Azure, AWS, and Google Cloud (VNet/VPCs, subnets, routing, peering).
  • Implement and manage hybrid connectivity solutions including Azure ExpressRoute, AWS Direct Connect, and Google Cloud Interconnect.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to define scalable and standardized network architectures aligned with organizational goals.
  • Monitor and manage network infrastructure performance to ensure high availability, reliability, and minimal disruptions.
  • Support and optimize large-scale, distributed infrastructure environments with a focus on cloud integration.
  • Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies in enterprise networking and cloud solutions.
  • Develop documentation, standards, and procedures for network infrastructure and security.
  • Troubleshoot complex network issues promptly and effectively, providing ongoing support and improvements.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in IT infrastructure with a focus on data center networking and cloud architecture.
  • 4+ years of hands-on experience with data center switching, routing, and cloud networking solutions.
  • Proven track record in designing and implementing enterprise network solutions.
  • Experience working with Software Defined Networking (SDN) and Network Function Virtualization (NFV) is preferred.
  • Strong background in automation and orchestration tools is preferred.
  • Exposure to multi-cloud environments, including Azure, AWS, and Google Cloud Platform, is preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting large-scale, distributed infrastructure environments is preferred.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a hybrid environment with an initial 90-day onsite commitment.
