Job description
The position is for an experienced professional with in-depth knowledge, technical expertise to manage the Onsite operations for Collins Aerospace products and professional services, managed airports services and/or maintenance services at Collins stations in Spain. The incumbent will lead a team of Field Service Technicians to manage day-to-day priorities, solving client issues, optimise manpower and resources, responds to complaints of customers, and escalates key issues to senior management., * Maintain and manage our Collins airport sites, customer relations and partnership with the local Airports Authorities.
- Monitor and manage our sub-contractors and/or suppliers onsite for assuring our Collins services delivered with respect to Collins standards and customer expectations.
- Contacts customers, collects feedback, and establishes and maintains good relationship with customers.
- Responds to customer complaints and carries out customer satisfaction investigations to ensure establishment of appropriate improvement plans.
- Coordinates, prioritises and resolves issues encountered by the team.
- Optimises the usage of manpower, standard time, equipment and energy of team.
- Escalates key issues that will impact the business.
- Manages team according to established programs and objectives.
- Assesses product needs in accordance with customer specifications.
- Acts as local on-site Collins Aerospace representative to the customer's organisation.
- Manages statement of work to meet customer and contract requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, MIS, or closely related Aviation field with proven working experience preferably in an Airports or Aviation field services organisation
- Relevant work experience must include people management of technical professionals with the ability to engage, motivate and lead/ direct / review the work of team members in order to accomplish operational plans and results.
- ITIL Foundation certification most preferably service operations certification is a plus.
- Experience with supporting Cisco network devices in a live production environment.
- A working knowledge of Windows Server is a plus.
- Familiarity and experience in dealing with and manoeuvring with the relevant Airport Operators in Spain.
- Possesses a broad working knowledge of Special Airport Systems (SAS) including Airport operational systems, Baggage reconciliation system and passenger processing systems.
- Proficiency in MS Office suite tools such as Outlook, PowerPoint , Word , Excel
- Excellent Communication (written & verbal) in English and Spanish
- Ability to work effectively in a matrixed team environment locally and globally
- Good problem-solving skills to source solutions to customer requirements or issues
- Excellent attention to detail and quality
- Ability to travel frequently across the country and occasionally internationally as maybe required.
- The successfully candidate will need to be a Spanish national or already have the right to work and live in Spain.
