Job description

The PhD student will be expected to:

  • Conduct comprehensive literature reviews to identify research gaps and inform study design.
  • Design, implement, and evaluate user studies and controlled experiments.
  • Collect, process, and analyze quantitative and qualitative research data.
  • Develop and validate experimental methodologies and evaluation protocols.
  • Compare and assess different approaches through empirical analysis.
  • Interpret findings and derive evidence-based conclusions.
  • Write and publish research articles in peer-reviewed conferences and journals.
  • Present research findings at academic venues and seminars.
  • Collaborate with researchers on study design, experimentation, and publications.
  • Contribute to the broader research community through reproducible scientific practices and dissemination of results.

Requirements

Do you have a Master's degree?, We seek candidates from computer science or cognitive science who are eager to bridge both fields, with strong English skills and interest in areas like human-computer interaction, visualization, and experimental methods. Applicants should also be capable of programming to build experimental or interactive systems and committed to open science practices.
