Our client, a leading international technology organization operating in the high-tech domain, is looking for a Linux DevOps Engineer to join their engineering platform team in Zwolle, As a Linux DevOps Engineer, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and integrating new tools, automation solutions, and platform capabilities that support hundreds of software engineers. You will be part of a multidisciplinary team focused on innovation, continuous improvement, and the development of cutting-edge engineering environments.
Your work will directly contribute to the efficiency, scalability, and reliability of software development processes used in highly advanced technology projects.

- Python, * Design, develop, and enhance engineering tools and platform components.
- Build, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines using GitLab and Jenkins.
- Translate engineering requirements into scalable technical solutions.
- Develop automation solutions and Infrastructure-as-Code using Ansible.
- Integrate engineering applications with underlying infrastructure and services.
- Create and maintain container-based development environments using Docker, Podman, and Kubernetes.
- Develop proof-of-concepts and evaluate emerging technologies.
- Collaborate with international engineering teams to deliver new platform capabilities and innovations.
Requirements
- Completed MBO-4, Bachelor's degree, or equivalent qualification in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Strong interest in Linux engineering; experience with Red Hat environments is an advantage.
- Familiarity with container technologies such as Docker or Podman, or a willingness to learn.
- Experience with automation and Infrastructure-as-Code tools, preferably Ansible.
- Interest in CI/CD technologies and software delivery processes.
Nice to Have
- Hands-on experience with Ansible.
- Experience with container platforms such as Kubernetes, Docker, or Podman.
- Experience building and maintaining CI/CD automation solutions.
- Background in application support or platform support environments.
