167 Solutions is partnering with an established international organisation to recruit an experienced Senior Data Engineer to design, build and optimise modern cloud-based data platforms that support business intelligence, advanced analytics and AI initiatives.
This is a fully remote opportunity for someone who enjoys solving complex data challenges, building scalable solutions and working with modern Microsoft cloud technologies.
The Role
You'll play a key role in designing and delivering enterprise data solutions that enable data-driven decision making across the business.
Responsibilities
·Design, build and maintain scalable cloud-based data platforms.
·Develop robust ETL/ELT pipelines for structured and unstructured data.
·Build and optimise enterprise data warehouses and data lakes.
·Work closely with Architects, Developers, Analysts and business stakeholders.
·Improve data quality, governance, performance and reliability.
·Develop scalable batch and real-time data processing solutions.
·Automate deployments using CI/CD and Infrastructure as Code.
·Contribute to data architecture, engineering standards and best practice.

Requirements
·Proven experience as a Senior Data Engineer or Data Engineer.
·Strong SQL development and database optimisation experience.
·Excellent Python programming skills.
·Hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory, Microsoft Fabric, Synapse Analytics or Databricks.
·Experience designing modern ETL/ELT data pipelines.
·Strong understanding of Azure Data Lake and cloud-native data architectures.
·Experience using Git, Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipelines.
·Knowledge of data modelling, governance and security best practices.
·Experience working within Agile environments.
Desirable
·Microsoft Azure certifications.
·Experience supporting AI, Machine Learning or predictive analytics projects.
·Power BI data modelling experience.
·Experience working with enterprise-scale data platforms.
