Job description
The Finance Transformation Capability Lead is responsible for designing, governing, and embedding the core capabilities that underpin a modern finance function across. This includes ownership of the TFW Finance Target Operating Model, the Finance Service Delivery Model, the enterprise-wide Finance Process Catalogue, and the Global Process Owner accountability framework, setting governance frameworks and serving as the main contact for process-related matters
The role leads as a global process owner (GPO)drives end-to-end standardisation of finance processes across multiple TfW entities, ensuring consistency, compliance, and operational excellence. It also partners closely with the Digital Finance Transformation Lead to embed technology, automation, and data-driven capabilities that streamline processes and strengthen controls.
Role responsibilities
- Governance Framework Ownership: Develop, own and maintain the Finance Governance Frameworks. Define decision rights, design governance forums, set standards, ensure adoption, and coordinate responses to internal and external audit queries, to ensure a consistent, controlled, and transparent operating environment that reduces risk and strengthens accountability.
- Finance Target Operating Model (TOM) Leadership: Lead the design and evolution of the Finance Target Operating Model with finance leaders to define roles, capabilities, data flows, and structures. To ensure the finance function is scalable, digitally enabled, and aligned with TfW's strategic objectives.
- Finance Service Delivery Model Design: Refresh and optimise the TfW Finance Service Delivery Model. Working with the Finance leadership set service-level frameworks, clarify responsibilities across shared services, CoEs, and retained finance, to deliver efficient, high-quality finance services with clear accountability and measurable performance.
- Global Finance Process Catalogue Ownership: Own the TfW Finance Process Catalogue. Define L1-L4 taxonomy, maintain documentation standards, and align with ERP, automation, and data models, to create a single source of truth that enables consistency, automation, and effective governance.
- Standardisation Across Multi-Entity Environment: Standardise and lead initiatives that leverage best practices, emerging technologies, and data analysis, driving ongoing optimisation of finance processes across all TfW Group entities. Identify variations, harmonise policies and controls, embed standardisation into systems templates, champion continuous process improvement enforce design principles, to reduce complexity, improve control effectiveness, and enable scalable digital transformation and ensuring processes remain efficient, compliant, and aligned with organisational needs
Requirements
Do you have experience in Continuous improvement?, Do you have a Bachelor's degree?, * A bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Business Administration, Finance, Accounting
- Certified Business Process Management (BPM) Professional
- Demonstrated experience leading large-scale process transformation, standardisation, financial governance, controls and continuous improvement initiatives in a complex environment
- Deep expertise in Finance Transformation and finance operating models and service delivery models
- Proven experience standardising processes across multi-entity or multi-system environments
- Deep understanding of end-to-end finance processes and frameworks (COSO, SOX)
