integrate braking and steering systems into the overall aircraft architecture. Equipment re-qualification accounting for new aircraft weight variants, heat dissipation, and REACH regulations. Qualifications Degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. Required Skills Basic awareness of Aircraft System Qualification & Certification. Process optimisation and organisational skills. Planning & reporting experience. Project management experience is desired but not necessary. Creating & analysing test cases from lab and flight test. Ability to support delivery of large complex projects on time. Systems engineering experience; particularly involving Requirements Management (DOORS), Integration, Verification & Validation. Proficiency in Hydraulic & Mechanical systems for braking & steering control. Understanding of control theory and the dynamics of aircraft brake systems. Knowledge of communication means (Can Bus, ARINC 429, ARINC 666, Analog & Discrete signals). Preferred Skills Experience in writing technical specifications both at equipment & systems level. Aerospace (Landing Gear Systems) environment background. Proficiency in Hydraulic & Mechanical systems for braking & steering control. Understanding of control theory and the dynamics of aircraft brake systems. Knowledge of various aircraft steering mechanisms, including Nose Wheel Steering and differential braking. Experience with A/C manuals (AMM, IPC, CMM, etc.). Experience in the use of one or more of the following would be advantageous: Catia V5, MSC ADAMS, MATLAB, Simulink or IBM DOORS.
