Transceiver EEPROM Programming & Labeling

Position Summary. We are seeking a detail-oriented Electronics Production Technician to join our operations team. This role is responsible for programming EEPROMs on fiber optic transceivers, applying custom product labels, verifying configuration accuracy, and maintaining production quality standards. The ideal candidate is organized, technically inclined, and capable of performing repetitive tasks with a high degree of accuracy. Key Responsibilities

• Program and verify EEPROM data on fiber optic transceivers using specialized software and programming equipment.
• Configure transceiver parameters according to customer specifications and compatibility requirements.
• Generate, print, and apply custom product labels and serial number stickers.
• Verify labeling accuracy, product identification, and programmed data before shipment.
• Perform quality control inspections to ensure products meet company and customer standards.
• Maintain accurate production records, programming logs, and inventory documentation.
• Troubleshoot programming errors and escalate technical issues when necessary.
• Package finished products according to established procedures.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Follow all quality management and operational procedures.

Do you have experience in Windows?, Do you have a High school diploma or GED?, Required Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent Working knowledge of Linux and Windows operating systems Familiarity with Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, and common business applications Strong verbal and written communication skills Excellent customer service orientation and patience when working with non-technical users Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment Preferred Qualifications Experience with barcode systems, label printing software, or inventory management systems. Basic understanding of networking concepts and optical communications. Work Environment & Physical Requirements Office and warehouse environment May require occasional after-hours or weekend support
