Software Test Engineer

Focused Support LLC is a privately owned small business creating modern software products for the Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) domain. We are seeking a bright self-motivated individual who is looking for the challenges, opportunities, and benefits that come with working for a small fast-paced organization.

Key areas of responsibility will include but not be limited to the following:

• Contribute as part of a small test team, involved in all aspects of software test (requirements, design, development, integration, and test) using a wide variety of programming languages and technologies including Java, Javascript, and C#
• Manually test software systems
• Build, maintain and run Automated testing
• Build, test, and maintain mock environments
• Document product features, tests, and other processes
• Communicates status to the product lead and other stakeholders
• Writes code when not performing other testing duties

Do you have experience in Software testing?, * Familiar with the software test and development life cycle

• Familiarity with software test/development - Java, Javascript, HTML, CSS
• Familiarity with Javascript frameworks and tools such as JQuery, Backbone, Angular, Selenium, and Leaflet
• Familiarity with software development tools such as Eclipse, Git, Jenkins, Jira, and Maven
• Demonstrated ability to quickly and effectively learn new technologies and adapt to new environments and methodologies
• Effective oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills
• Flexibility to quickly adjust to the changing needs and priorities of a rapidly growing business
• Team player
• Self motivated

Education and Experience:

• Computer Science degree, or a related degree or trade
• Due to security requirements US CITIZENSHIP IS REQUIRED, * Software testing: 1 year (Preferred)
