Job description
We are looking for a hands-on Robotics Operations Specialist to bridge the gap between physical hardware and cloud deployment. This isn't a passive lab job-you will actively manage robotic workcells, sideload cutting-edge AI models, and act as the technical lifeline for ~10 engineering teams competing globally. If you love Linux, live container management, and aren't afraid to open up a machine and swap a network card, this project is for you., * Monitor & Manage: Oversee live robotic workflows, managing apps running directly on the hardware.
- Deploy AI Models: SSH into Linux systems to install, sideload, and configure software and AI models.
- Maintain the Workcell: Physically adjust objects in the robot workspace, troubleshoot hardware issues, and replace components (e.g., network cards, task board parts).
- Live Event Support: Coordinate with global engineering teams via chat, starting/stopping runs and providing real-time technical troubleshooting.
- Document & Stream: Set up cameras to record and stream live robot operations for evaluation.
Requirements
Do you have experience in Python?, * The Basics: Solid experience operating or monitoring physical robotic/automated systems safely.
- The OS: Proficiency with the Linux command line, remote access via SSH, and light scripting.
- The Tech Stack: Confident using Docker (images, volumes, containers) and a solid grasp of Kubernetes fundamentals (Pods, Deployments, Services).
- The Tools: Ability to follow complex technical documentation and manually troubleshoot/replace PC/networking hardware components.
- Bonus Points: Familiarity with ROS2, Python, or C++.
