Job description
CGI is seeking a Senior Network Infrastructure Engineer to lead the design, implementation, and support of complex enterprise network infrastructure within a highly secure, cloud enabled environment. This role is responsible for engineering, maintaining, and optimizing load balancing, firewall, and routing solutions across both on premises and cloud platforms., The ideal candidate will serve as a technical leader, partnering with infrastructure, cloud, and application teams to ensure highly available, scalable, and secure network services. Responsibilities include network architecture, capacity planning, performance optimization, vendor coordination, operational support, and automation of infrastructure deployments. Experience working in enterprise environments leveraging AWS, along with exposure to Azure and GCP networking, is highly desirable.
Requirements
5+ years of experience in network engineering, infrastructure engineering, or a related enterprise IT role.
. Expert level experience administering and troubleshooting F5 BIG IP Load Balancers (LTM/GTM)
. Strong hands on experience with Palo Alto Networks Firewalls, including policy management and security best practices
. Solid knowledge of Cisco routing and switching technologies within large enterprise environments
. Experience designing and supporting highly available network infrastructure across hybrid cloud environments
. Working knowledge of AWS networking services, including CloudFront and related networking components
. Exposure to Azure and/or Google Cloud Platform (GCP) networking, firewalls, and load balancing services
. Experience with infrastructure automation using Ansible Automation Platform and Terraform
. Familiarity with IT Service Management tools such as ServiceNow and Agile work management platforms like JIRA
. Strong understanding of network capacity planning, performance analysis, configuration management, and infrastructure audits
. Ability to troubleshoot complex networking issues while collaborating across infrastructure, cloud, security, and application teams
. Excellent communication skills with the ability to document solutions and work effectively with vendors and internal stakeholders, ?Relevant industry certifications (such as F5, Palo Alto, Cisco, AWS, Azure, or Terraform) are preferred but not required, Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical discipline required, * Amazon Web Services Cloud

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $95,700.00 $156,700.00.
