Temporary NetSuite Developer

The Temporary NetSuite Developer will be responsible for conceptualizing and executing clear, quality code to support Hamilton with NetSuite development, customization, and system enhancements during a defined project period. This individual will partner with business stakeholders to develop technical solutions, improve business processes, and ensure the stability and performance of the NetSuite platform. The ideal candidate is hands-on developer who can quickly contribute with minimal ramp-up time., * Develop, test, and deploy NetSuite customizations using SuiteScript 2.0/2.1.

• Resolve technical issues quickly with minimal business disruption.
• Maintain clear documentation for all development work.
• Configure custom records, forms, fields, workflows, and dashboards.
• Build and maintain integrations with third-party applications using REST, SOAP, RESTlets, and SuiteTalk.
• Create Saved Searches, SuiteAnalytics reports, KPIs, and dashboards to support business operations.
• Troubleshoot and resolve NetSuite issues, bugs, and performance concerns.
• Collaborate with Finance, Accounting, HR, Operations, and other departments to gather requirements and implement solutions.
• Assist with data imports, exports, migrations, and system testing.
• Support NetSuite release management, sandbox testing, and production deployments.
• Document customizations, technical specifications, and development processes
• Provide recommendations for process improvements and automation opportunities to increase efficiency.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 3+ years of hands-on NetSuite development experience.
• Strong knowledge of SuiteScript 2.x, SuiteFlow, SuiteBuilder, SuiteAnalytics, and Saved Searches.
• Experience integrating NetSuite with third-party applications using REST or SOAP APIs.
• Proficiency in JavaScript and ERP development best practices.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Oracle NetSuite certification(s).
• Experience supporting NetSuite implementations, upgrades, or large enhancement projects.
• Knowledge of accounting, finance, inventory, and order management processes.
