Looking to hire ASAP!!! Contract to Perm. Contract period will last between 3-4 months with client option to hire as FTE with full benefits.Windows User Support Specialist position with minimum of 3 years of experience. The most important quality of candidate will be someone who is a curious, driven self-starter who always goes the distance to get the job done with exceptional customer service in DNA. You have excellent customer service skills, able to manage expectations and follow up on issues and handle escalations with professionalism and smile. You have 3+ strong years of supporting and troubleshooting Windows Desktop and Server infrastructure which must include Active Directory, DNS, GPO, etcs. You've handled challenging users both remotely and onsite with absolute professionalism. You have some experience with virtualization and cloud computing and have conducted planned and emergency maintenance of software and hardware. You will be responsible for researching and troubleshooting system issues, handle periodic desktops/laptop deployment and support. Conference room AV experience a big plus., * Provides technical support for user support desk and users.
- Support and troubleshoot Windows Desktop and Server infrastructure including AD, IIS, DNS, GPO, etc
- Perform regular maintenance work including software updates and hardware upgrades.
- Be knowledgeable of state-of-the-art technology including virtualization and cloud and new tools in order to keep systems up-to-date.
- Be familiar with the company's products and services including their technical aspects.
- Image and deploy laptops
- Manage technology equipment moves, adds and changes
