Part Time Library Support Information Technology (IT) Technician

This is an entry level role which is ideal for a candidate looking to begin a career in the Information Technology industry. This would be a perfect fit for students. No IT experience required, but needs to be comfortable with Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office products. The ideal candidate must provide consistent outstanding customer service and follow up, as well have a passion to learn new concepts. A willingness to assist your peers and colleagues is also required.

Key Duties:

Provide gracious and friendly service to all customers

Understand and enforce the policies and procedures of the library, while safeguarding confidential and restricted information

Assist customers with basic functions of computers, printers, copiers, and other IT products

Assist customers with use of the Internet

May help in training of various technologies

Assist with day-to-day operation of the library's IT network including installation, configuration, maintenance and upgrades - all under the direction of the IT Manager

Keep informed of current technologies in hardware and software

Do you have experience in Windows?, Do you have a High school diploma or GED?, * High School degree or equivalent
