Job description

Do you enjoy bringing structure to complex data and ensuring every detail is accurate? Are you energized by working at the intersection of engineering, manufacturing and technology? Human Active Technology (HAT) is seeking an Engineering Systems Administrator to manage the engineering data that powers our manufacturing operations.

In this role, you'll serve as the steward of product data within our ERP system, ensuring Bills of Material (BOMs), routings, item records and engineering changes are accurate, consistent and production-ready. Your work will directly support manufacturing, planning, inventory, costing and new product development across the organization.

What You'll Do

Based in our Easton, PA headquarters, the Engineering Systems Administrator is responsible for maintaining the integrity of engineering data within our ERP system while partnering with Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain and Operations to support efficient production.

In this role, you will:

  • Create, maintain and update item master records, Bills of Material (BOMs) and manufacturing routings within the ERP system.

  • Interpret engineering drawings to ensure product structures are accurate and aligned with approved documentation.

  • Execute Engineering Change Requests (ECRs) while maintaining revision control and effective implementation timelines.

  • Ensure ERP data supports manufacturing execution, inventory planning, scheduling and product costing.

  • Identify and resolve discrepancies between engineering documentation and ERP records.

  • Collaborate with Product Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Planning and Operations to ensure product data remains accurate and consistent.

  • Maintain multi-level BOMs and routing structures for existing and new products.

  • Recommend process improvements that strengthen data integrity, standardization and operational efficiency.

  • Support product data cleanup initiatives and continuous improvement projects across engineering systems.

Requirements

Do you have experience in SyteLine?, Do you have a Associate's degree?, We're looking for someone who enjoys solving problems, values precision and understands how accurate engineering data drives manufacturing success., * Associate degree in a technical field or equivalent experience required; Bachelor's degree preferred.

  • One to three years of experience supporting ERP systems, engineering systems or product data management.

  • Experience working with Bills of Material (BOMs), item master records and manufacturing data.

  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation.

  • ERP experience required; Syteline experience is a plus.

  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills.

  • Exceptional attention to detail with outstanding organizational skills.

  • Analytical mindset with the ability to identify issues, solve problems and improve processes.

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across engineering, manufacturing and operations teams.
