Job description

The Epic Programmer Analyst Sr. is responsible for analysis of complex workflows, advanced system configuration and development, application deployment and support, change documentation, and will educate and inform staff on EPIC functionality. The individual will anticipate business needs and think with a business owner mind-set based on a strong fundamental knowledge of their application and how it integrates with other systems. The individual will understand the organizational infrastructure and can recommend solutions that enable the enterprise to achieve its goals. These responsibilities require the individual to be a knowledge leader for their systems and/or applications. The individual delivers results across multiple teams to provide solutions for the enterprise. This position will include on call responsibilities.

Requirements

Do you have experience in Productivity software?, Do you have a Associate's degree?, Education: Associate Degree w/6+ years job experience & 3 years Epic experience & Epic Certification required. or Bachelor Degree w/4+ years job experience & 2 years Epic experience & Epic Certification required.

IT area of study or related area required. Related areas of study include Nursing, Medical Technology, Radiology, Mathematics, Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Laboratory, Pharmacy, or Medicine.

Licensure: Not Applicable Certification: Project Management Certification is preferred Experience: Please see the experience requirements located in the education section. Requires knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite of applications, and good analytical and documentation skills Skills/Other:

About the company

Premier Health utilizes the EPIC system as the electronic medical record (EMR) in which patient health information is entered and stored for the purpose of securing patient clinical information and enhancing patient care. Premier Health employs multiple Epic Teams that specialize in a range of applications within the Epic EMR. The Epic Hospital Billing Team is responsible for applications that encompass the billing and reimbursement functions for the hospitals of Premier Health. This includes all activities and regulations crucial to the accurate and timely generation of claims and statements and the collection and application of remitted funds. This involves an understanding of Medicare billing regulations.
