Senior Endpoint Engineer

The Senior Endpoint Engineer is the technical owner of Sunrise's endpoint provisioning and lifecycle strategy, leading zero-touch deployment, security hardening and performance optimization across the Windows fleet. This role drives automation, standardization and endpoint protection to improve reliability, security and scalability while reducing hands-on support. What You'll Do: * Architect and scale Windows Autopilot zero-touch provisioning and dynamic device enrollment * Maintain secure gold images and endpoint baselines (BitLocker, LAPS, firewall, ASR, device control) * Own Intune configuration, compliance, app protection and Conditional Access alignment * Lead Defender for Endpoint deployment, EDR tuning and vulnerability remediation * Manage Windows Update for Business/Autopatch strategies and reporting * Oversee Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) image strategy, host pools and performance optimization * Automate Intune, Defender and AVD processes using PowerShell, Python and Graph API * Publish standards, runbooks and mentor Service Desk/Desktop teams Senior Endpoint Engineer - Lead Secure, Scalable Endpoint Strategy and Automation Endpoint Engineer | Intune | Microsoft Defender | Windows Autopilot | Endpoint Security | PowerShell | Azure
