Embedded Software Engineer 3 in Chandler, AZ

Join Indotronix as an Embedded Software Engineer 3 and play a key role in developing cutting-edge embedded software for launch vehicle systems. This 12-month onsite contract in Chandler, AZ offers you the opportunity to collaborate with industry leaders on mission-critical defense projects. • Support requirements analysis, architecture development, detailed design, coding, unit testing, and system integration
• Ensure software meets rigorous industry and security standards
• Participate in collaborative problem-solving within a multi-discipline engineering team
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues throughout the software lifecycle

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Systems, or related engineering field

• 5-25 years of hands-on experience in embedded software engineering
• Strong proficiency in C++ and C with object-oriented development in Linux environments
• In-depth experience with embedded real-time software, debugging, and testing
• Solid background in RTOS such as VxWorks, Integrity, LynxOS, or Yocto Linux
• Familiarity with the full software development lifecycle
• Active DoD Secret security clearance (investigated within the last 5 years)
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
• Proven analytical and troubleshooting capabilities

• Experience with PowerPC, ARM, and/or RISC-V processor architectures
• Background in real-time and hardware-in-the-loop test environments
• Prior involvement in weapon system integration and interface development
