Job description
We are seeking an Identity Engineer with a strong IT background in systems administration, software development, or technical support. The engineer will support enterprise Identity and Access Management (IAM) services for over 110,000 workforce accounts and 8 million citizen accounts, ensuring secure and reliable identity services across mission-critical applications. This role requires hands-on troubleshooting, automation, and collaboration with security and agency teams to improve identity management capabilities., * Provide technical support for IAM services supporting workforce and citizen accounts.
- Resolve user identity and access issues while meeting service-level agreements.
- Configure and support SSO, MFA, and PAM solutions.
- Manage user provisioning, de-provisioning, and access changes.
- Process bulk user account requests and identity updates.
- Develop scripts and automation to streamline identity management processes.
- Partner with security teams to implement IAM initiatives and improve enterprise security.
- Collaborate with agencies and application owners to resolve mission-critical access issues.
- Document procedures, troubleshoot complex identity problems, and recommend process improvements.
Requirements
Do you have experience in Ticketing system technical support?, * 2+ years of experience in software administration, application development, or systems support.
- 2+ years of experience handling user support issues through ticketing systems (ServiceNow, Jira, Remedy, etc.).
- Experience troubleshooting authentication, access, and user account issues.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with scripting or programming (PowerShell, Python, Bash, Java, C#, or similar).
- Ability to manage a high-volume workload (100+ support tickets per month).
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of Identity and Access Management (IAM) principles.
- Experience with:
- Privileged Access Management (PAM)
- Single Sign-On (SSO)
- Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA)
- User provisioning and de-provisioning (Joiner/Mover/Leaver lifecycle)
- Identity governance and access control
- Experience identifying and implementing automation to improve operational efficiency.
- Familiarity with Active Directory, Azure AD/Entra ID, LDAP, or similar identity platforms.
