Job description

Job Summary: Responsible for providing frontline technical assistance and support related to computer systems, hardware, or software. Responds to queries, runs diagnostic programs, isolates problem, and determines and advises solution(s) to implement. Provide support to staff on all company-supported applications., 1. Monitor and resolve Help Desk tickets.

  1. Field frontline calls, emails, and chats. (Be the "face" of IT.)
  2. Set up new users and provide computer orientation to new and existing staff.
  3. Image, install, modify, and repair computer hardware and software.
  4. Document processes.
  5. Provide technical assistance and support related to computer systems.
  6. Create and help maintain reports.
  7. Maintain IT stock room.
  8. Learn our systems in order to be a back-up for network and other systems.
  9. Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  1. Associates or 2+ years of experience in information technology, computer, or engineering science, or equivalent applicable work experience
  2. 1-2 years help desk experience preferred, To perform the job successfully, you should demonstrate the following competencies:
  3. Heavy knowledge of Windows 10 and 11
  4. Good understanding of computer hardware
  5. Knowledge of basic networking principles
  6. Familiar with Cybersecurity platforms
  7. Installation and troubleshooting of software on Windows OS.
  8. Must be able to communicate fluently in English, both verbally and in writing.
  9. Ability to analyze and solve problems in a timely manner
  10. Ability to learn and support new systems and applications
  11. Organize resources and establish priorities
  12. Positive, can-do attitude; willing to help as requested

We are a small tight-knit team, looking for the right Help Desk person with a positive attitude and a good work ethic. You will be trained by the former occupant of this position and assume all roles as soon as trained. You will gain plenty of valuable experience in order to further your career.
