Job description

Kforce has a client in need of a Full Stack Engineer in Jersey City, NJ., * Build and maintain scalable, user-facing web applications using modern front-end frameworks

  • Develop reusable UI components and implement consistent design patterns
  • Create responsive, mobile-first, and accessible user interfaces
  • Integrate front-end applications with APIs and backend services
  • Optimize applications for speed, performance, and cross-browser compatibility
  • Contribute to front-end architecture, state management, and build processes
  • Implement and maintain automated front-end testing
  • Collaborate with product, design, and backend teams to deliver high-quality applications
  • Develop and support backend services and APIs to enable full stack functionality
  • Assist with database interactions and data integration across systems
  • Support cloud-based application deployment and environment configurations

Requirements

  • Strong experience with HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+), and TypeScript
  • Proven experience building applications with modern frameworks (Angular preferred)
  • Deep understanding of component-based architecture and front-end design patterns
  • Experience with state management tools such as Redux, NgRx, or similar
  • Experience integrating with RESTful APIs and microservices
  • Familiarity with modern development tools such as Git, CI/CD pipelines, and build systems
  • Experience with front-end testing frameworks
  • Working knowledge of backend development using Java
  • Experience with backend frameworks such as Spring Boot or similar
  • Familiarity with relational and NoSQL databases
  • Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or similar
  • Experience with Python and Snowflake is a strong plus
  • Strong focus on performance, security, and user experience
  • Ability to work cross-functionally in a collaborative environment

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
