Job description
Position Summary: Language on Demand (LOD) is seeking Curriculum Developers to support the U.S. Navy Future Sailor Preparatory Course. Curriculum Developers will create, maintain, and improve instructional materials designed to enhance Future Sailors' academic readiness and ASVAB performance., * Develop lesson plans, instructor guides, student workbooks, presentations, quizzes, examinations, and assessment tools.
- Design instructional content covering mathematics, verbal reasoning, reading comprehension, vocabulary development, and test-taking strategies.
- Update curriculum materials based on student performance data and Government feedback.
- Coordinate curriculum development activities with instructors, Site Lead personnel, COR, and LSO representatives.
- Ensure instructional materials comply with Navy standards and adult learning principles.
- Support assessment development, program evaluation, and continuous improvement efforts.
Requirements
Do you have experience in Project leadership?, Do you have a Master's degree?, * Bachelor's degree in Education, Curriculum & Instruction, Mathematics, English, Reading Education, or related field.
- Minimum three (3) years of curriculum development, instructional design, or adult education experience.
- Experience developing instructional materials and educational assessments.
- Strong written communication and presentation skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and instructional technology tools.
- U.S. Citizenship required.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain access to U.S. military installations.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience developing ASVAB preparation curriculum.
- Experience supporting Department of Defense (DoD), Navy, military training, or young adult education programs.
- Familiarity with instructional technology and learning management systems.
