Director-Finance Systems

We are seeking a Director of Finance Systems to serve as the primary technology partner to the Finance and Accounting organization. This role bridges business and IT, ensuring that financial systems effectively support core accounting processes, manufacturing operations, and strategic decision-making.

The ideal candidate brings a strong foundation in accounting, particularly cost accounting, and has transitioned into IT with deep expertise in SAP and finance system implementations., * Act as the primary IT business partner to Finance and Accounting, aligning technology solutions with business objectives

• Lead and support finance systems initiatives, including enhancements, implementations, and process improvements
• Provide expertise in manufacturing finance processes, including cost accounting and product costing
• Drive profitability analysis capabilities through system design and data modeling
• Lead or contribute to SAP ERP implementations, including ECC and S/4HANA transformations
• Oversee and optimize General Ledger processes, including experience with the SAP Universal Journal
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure integration between finance systems and upstream and downstream processes
• Translate complex business requirements into scalable and effective system solutions
• Provide leadership in process standardization, system governance, and best practices

Technical and Functional Environment

• ERP Systems: SAP ECC, S/4HANA
• Finance Functions: General Ledger, Cost Accounting, Product Costing, Profitability Analysis
• Core Concepts: SAP Universal Journal, financial data modeling, manufacturing finance processes

Do you have experience in Technology management?, Do you have a Bachelor's degree?, * Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or a related field

• Strong background in accounting, with emphasis on cost accounting and manufacturing finance
• Hands-on experience with SAP finance modules (ECC and or S/4HANA)
• Proven experience leading or contributing to finance and accounting system implementations
• Deep understanding of product costing, profitability analysis, and financial reporting processes
• Experience serving as a business-facing IT partner or bridging finance and technology teams, * Prior experience transitioning from accounting into IT or SAP-focused roles
• Expertise in S/4HANA Finance, including the Universal Journal
• Experience in manufacturing environments with complex costing structures
• Familiarity with system integration and data architecture within enterprise environments
• Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills
