Job description

  • Analyze financial and regulatory datasets to identify trends, anomalies, and actionable insights.
  • Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Tableau.
  • Gather business requirements and translate them into technical designs, dashboards, and reporting solutions.
  • Extract, transform, clean, and validate data using SQL, PostgreSQL, Python, and ETL processes.
  • Develop efficient SQL queries and analytical workflows for large datasets.
  • Support data integration and analytics within AWS cloud environments, including Amazon Redshift.
  • Ensure data quality, consistency, and accuracy across reports and dashboards.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders and technical teams to deliver data-driven solutions.
  • Maintain and enhance existing dashboards to improve usability and performance.
  • Document business requirements, data processes, report logic, and technical workflows.
  • Identify opportunities to automate reporting and data processing using Python.
  • Present analytical findings through reports and presentations.

Requirements

Do you have experience in Technical writing experience within technology?, Do you have a Bachelor's degree?, NumInformatics, Inc. is seeking a Data Analyst / Tableau Developer to support a federal financial regulatory project. The successful candidate will analyze complex financial datasets, develop interactive dashboards, and support enterprise data analytics solutions within AWS cloud environments. This position is ideal for candidates with strong analytical skills, experience working with financial or regulatory data, and expertise in SQL, Python, Tableau, and cloud-based data platforms., * Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Finance, Economics, Data Science, or a related field.

  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a Data Analyst, Business Analyst, or Data Visualization Developer.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience working with financial services or regulatory data, preferably supporting a U.S. federal financial regulatory agency or financial institution.
  • Experience performing business analysis, gathering requirements, and translating business needs into technical solutions.
  • Strong proficiency in SQL, PostgreSQL, and Python.
  • Experience developing dashboards using Tableau.
  • Experience working with AWS data services such as Redshift or QuickSight.
  • Experience querying and analyzing large datasets, including data extraction, transformation, cleansing, and quality validation.
  • Strong understanding of ETL processes and data management best practices.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, presentation, and technical writing skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • U.S. Citizenship required.
