Job description
- Build and manage AWS infrastructure across multi-account, multi-environment landing zones
- Design and implement systems management solutions that support program needs
- Install, configure, deploy, and maintain servers and enterprise software
- Monitor system performance, identify risks, and troubleshoot complex technical issues
- Ensure the security, reliability, and efficiency of IT infrastructure
- Collaborate within a SAFe delivery model alongside application, data, and security teams
- Assist with IaaS, IaC, networks, and firewall configuration
- Perform upgrades, IAVA patching, and maintain STIG compliance
- Support contract-required performance monitoring and system maintenance
- Troubleshoot outages and ensure high availability across environments
- Manage resources across AWS cloud services
- Implement and maintain access controls, backups, and security policies
- Build and maintain technical documentation, runbooks, architecture references, and IT policies
- Contribute to multi-region disaster recovery, failover strategies, and resilience automation
Requirements
Required:
- US citizenship is required and have a DoD Secret clearance
- 5+ years of related experience
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Security+ Certification
- Proven experience as a System Administrator, Network Administrator, or similar technical role
- Strong communication skills-both verbal and written-to collaborate with peers and leaders
- Hands-on experience supporting servers, networks (LAN/WAN), and patch management in virtual or cloud environments
- Ability to understand, distill, and document solution requirements from diverse stakeholders
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision
- Proficiency in Windows and Linux operating systems
- Production-level Kubernetes / EKS and container experience (Docker/containerd, image building)
- Active Directory and identity federation integration experience

- Familiarity with Git, Jenkins CI/CD, Terraform, and Docker
- Experience with STIG compliance, security hardening, and patching
- Strong knowledge of AWS services and hosted environments
- Server scripting skills (Shell, Perl, PowerShell) and experience with automation technologies
- Strong Terraform expertise (modules, state management, reusable IaC) and Ansible knowledge
- Experience with observability and logging platforms (Splunk, CloudWatch)

The proposed salary range for this position is
$90,300-$189,600
