Job description
Our client is seeking an experienced System Administrator to manage, troubleshoot, and maintain complex Information Technology (IT) systems across the enterprise infrastructure. You will be responsible for the day-to-day operation, monitoring, and problem resolution for client/server/storage/network devices and mobile systems. This role includes providing both Tier 1 (Help Desk) and Tier 2 (Escalation) support, configuring and managing UNIX and Windows operating systems, and supporting the installation and maintenance of Cisco routers and switches to ensure optimal system integrity and performance. Compensation for highly qualified candidates can reach 220k, with a robust benefits package.
Requirements
Fifteen (15) years of experience as a System Administrator (SA) in programs of similar scope and complexity.
A Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline (or five [5] years of additional SA experience in lieu of a degree).
Strong experience in configuring and managing UNIX and Windows operating systems.
Expertise in installing and maintaining Cisco routers and switches.
Experience with AWS and Linux environments (Preferred).
Ability to analyze and resolve complex problems associated with server hardware, applications, and software integration.
Clearance Requirements
